Description: Join us for pizza and art!! Whether Philly cheesesteaks, tomatoes, or shrimp are more your style, or you have something else in mind, join us to make 2 bag charms/keychains or magnets of your choice!
Would you rather sculpt in color, sculpt in white and then paint, add seed beads to your sculpture, the options are endless. You’ll learn different options to color clay, sample different polymer clay types (including liquid clay), and how to layer and glaze pieces!
We will order pizza to enjoy while everyone’s pieces cure.
Sparkling water will be available, but this event is also BYOB. Feel free to bring your favorite beverage to enjoy while crafting. We have glasses available, no need to bring disposables.
When: Sunday, 10/11, 12-3pm
Skills taught: You will be taught color techniques, sculpting, clay material variety, and glazing
Skills needed: None! All you need is the desire to create in community and patience with yourself
Supplies used: All will be provided and will include polymer clay, cutters, paints, beads, jewelry findings, and magnets
What you’ll leave with: Your choice! Either 2 keychains/bag charms or 2 magnets!
Meet your teacher: Megan has been pursuing her passion for the arts since she was 3! She has trained all over the world and in college, studied at Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts, and been featured in galleries for both painting and sculpture. While her focus used to be more hyper-realistic, she now focuses on bolder, brighter works that bring an air of silliness. See more on her instagram or website.
