Tracey Colla (she/her) has been making things, breaking things, and figuring it out as she goes for as long as she can remember. Bay Area born and raised, she moved to Philadelphia a decade ago and can't imagine living anywhere else. When she's not doing marketing things, you can find her thrifting, making stuff w/ clay, practicing yoga, or engrossed in a craft project. She doesn't claim to be an expert. She claims to be an enthusiast, which she has found is often more useful. She's thrilled to be here and genuinely cannot wait to make a mess with you.

Amy Kelly is a Philadelphia based mixed media artist. Amy has a BFA in Drawing and has been teaching since 2013. Crocheting, bookbinding, and watercolor are her specialties. She currently makes commission paintings for clients, teachers art workshops, and makes mixed media artworks based on religious and cultural symbolism.

Aubrey Nagle (she/her) is a writer, artist, crafter, learning designer, and newsletter enthusiast living in Philadelphia. When she’s not planning fun learning experiences, she’s painting, quilting, sewing, beading or otherwise making things. Sloane (she/her) started crocheting in 2023 as a way to work through grief and anxiety, and she’s been hooked ever since! She loves making everything, from garments to bags and blankets, and especially cute amigurumi. Sloane opened a small crochet business in 2025, Sloane Stitches, and she sells her amigurumi plushies on etsy and at markets around Philly!

Nox Wulong (they/them) is a Philly based nonbinary artist, metalworker, sculptor, and jeweler. They create jewelry, accessories, armor, sculpture, tools, and weapons from their fiery passon for metals and minerals, for fire and wire. Find their work on their website or find them on Instagram.

Erin (she/her) has been sewing by hand and machine since she hit puberty. In 2016, Erin began embroidering portraits of ‘nudes’ as a way to celebrate her friends. It quickly led to the creation of Nudie Stitches, and Erin has spent the last 10 years creating portraits for anyone who will pose. Erin’s embroidered art has been in galleries and on album covers. She embroiders clothes, hats, just about anything a needle can get through. Erin also enjoys breaking sewing machine needles by bulldozing through quilting haphazardly.

Alyssa Rose (she/her) and Ian Gibson (they/them), the queers behind the candles, have been building QCC together for 8 years. Dating since 2016, Ian was flabbergasted to find out how much money Alyssa spent on candles from big box stores when they moved into her apartment in 2018. That year for Christmas, Ian gave Alyssa a candle making kit for Christmas…and the rest is history! What started as a candle making hobby became a full time family business (two terribly behaved but very loved cats honorarily included). Visit their website or find them on Instagram.

Emilie Yonker (born 2003, Hastings, Michigan) is an artist living and working in Wilmington, DE. She is a graduate of the College for Creative Studies where she received a BFA in Fiber and Textiles. Her work is inspired by secondhand materials, and she uses both traditional and experimental techniques to create her work. She is drawn to domestic ephemera, such as doll parts, vintage toys, and doilies. Her work has been featured in Detroit Artist Market’s Annual Scholarship Awards and Exhibition. Kieran Betz (born 2002, Woodbury, Vermont) currently lives in Wilmington, DE. He graduated from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI with a BFA in Crafts, emphasizing in Glass and is now pursuing a degree in Scientific Glass Blowing from Salem Community College in Carneys Point, NJ. Kieran’s process centers on found and scrap material, blending natural forms with manufactured shapes. Sharon Hillman (she/her) is a textile artist, designer, and illustrator living in Philadelphia. She makes one-of-a-kind upcycled clothing and accessories that are gender and size-inclusive. See Sharon’s work on her website and instagram.

Han McCoy (he/him) is an art historian and emerging craftsman. His personal practice revolves around collage and memory collecting, using the two in tandem in an attempt to examine the intersectional identities within him as an individual. He dedicates much of his time creating sustainable craft and stationery items under the name Birdie & Co., intending to make crafting accessible and highlight the importance of physical media. McCoy's professional and academic endeavors have been supported by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and the Samuel H. Kress Foundation; he has held positions at the Philadelphia Art Museum and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.

Jennifer Scott (she/her) is a Philadelphia-based artist, illustrator, and educator. She creates detailed pen-and-ink drawings inspired by animals, nature, and everyday life under the name Hypergraphia. Her work has appeared in Art and Cake, The Philly Voice, and the print edition of Philadelphia Magazine.

Jennifer earned her MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) and has spent more than 25 years teaching. She loves making art fun and easy to learn and believes everyone can draw. Her classes focus on simple techniques that help people feel comfortable, creative, and confident while having a good time. See more on her Instagram.

Meg Lemieur (she/her) is a nature-focused illustrator based out of Philadelphia whose mission is to celebrate the diversity, interconnectedness, and amazing feats of the natural world. Her illustrations have been published as tabletop games, in comic anthologies, as large-scale educational projects, and more. She holds a certificate in Nature Journal Education, was awarded the Woman of Environmental Arts award by Penn Future in 2023 and was an Artist in Residence with the Pennsylvania Environmental Council in 2025. Meg teaches our Noticing Nature in The Neighborhood Class

Lauren Fiasconaro (she/her) is a visual artist who works in eco-minded alternative photo processes. Her work explores the complex relationships of humans and nature from an ecocentric point of view, often driven by concerns with climate change and environmental degradation.

Lauren graduated from Pratt Institute with a BFA in Photography and minors in Sustainable Studies and Art History. She is now based in Philadelphia and has exhibited locally at venues such as Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens, Vox Populi, Luster Gallery and Studios, The Halide Project, and the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education.

Gayle Antonides (they/them) is a 27 year old artist brand new to Philly from an island off the coast of Florida. They are a dedicated fiber and ceramic artist, passionate about making sustainable and eco friendly artwork. See more on their instagram

Gayle teaches our Visible Mending and Hand Quilting Class

Art has always been a staple in Jonah's life being the child of a photographer and a ceramist. His journey as a stained glass artist began with his first job at 15, working in a stained glass studio and becoming familiar with the basics. Glass, however, wouldn't be his preferred medium initially, having left his job to pursue and receive a theater degree. There, he became better acquainted with woodworking in the scene shop.

After graduating, and struggling through the pandemic, he decided to pursue his art, and began a small business with a focus on woodworking with recycled and reclaimed materials. Over time, he reintroduced stained glass to his work and that medium quickly became favored. He has been honing his craft, learning and incorporating various passions, in order to bring you the work you see today.

Jonah teaches our Multimedia Stained Glass Workshop

Philadelphia based artist Sarah James grew up in Easton, Pennsylvania, home of Crayola Crayon. Nothing gave her more joy than that big box of crayons made in her hometown, and they served as her introduction to making art. As a teen, her father taught her to develop black and white photography, further setting her on the path to art-making!

Sarah fell in love with printmaking in college. She was enthralled with the process, the mystery and magic. She enjoyed making multiples and giving them away. She took a tilemaking and mosaics class more than a decade later and it felt like printmaking, but with clay!

Never wanting to limit herself to one medium, Sarah is known for her tile address numbers, linocut prints, and collages. She currently sells her work at several shops in Philadelphia and creates mosaic commissions for clients nationally. Sarah also teaches mosaic workshops in her studio and across the city.
