Handsewn Envelope Pouch Workshop, Friday 11/6

from $35.00

Description: Let’s learn the basics of hand-sewing, patchworking, and embroidery by making a felt envelope pouch! Through demonstrations and guided practice, students will establish a strong foundation in handsewing, learning a variety of stitches (such as running, back, whip, and cross stitch) and the basics of construction.

This class is appropriate for brand-new beginners to hand sewing; students with some basic knowledge are also more than welcome!

We will have snacks and sparkling water available. This event is also BYOB. Feel free to bring your favorite beverage to enjoy while crafting. We have glasses available, no need to bring disposables.

When: Friday, 11/6, 6-9pm

Skills taught: You’ll learn the basics of hand sewing and applique.

Skills needed: This is a great workshop for beginners! All that is needed is a willingness to explore, some patience with yourself, and a desire to create in community.

Supplies used: All will be provided and will include felt, buttons, and embroidery floss.

What you’ll leave with: You will leave with a custom, one of a kind envelope pouch that can be used to store your treasures, pencils, photos, postcards, or phone.
