Description: Skip the shopping rush and relax with a craft from your childhood instead! We’ll be in the studio making picture frames from fuse beads (also known under the brand name Perler Beads). If you’re unfamiliar, fuse beads are small beads that you place on a pegboard in whatever design you fancy, and then briefly iron the design to melt the beads together.
In this workshop, we’ll choose from a broad array of colors and design a picture frame of our liking. We have a Polaroid camera onsite that you can use, or bring a photo from home!
We’ll have snacks and sparkling water available. This event is also BYOB. Feel free to bring your favorite beverage to enjoy while crafting. We have glasses available, no need to bring disposables.
When: Friday, 11/27 2-5pm
Skills needed: None! All you need is the desire to create in community and maybe a little patience with yourself
Supplies used: All will be provided and will include fuse beads, peg boards, and irons. Please bring a picture if you’d like to build your frame to a specific size.
What you’ll leave with: Every workshop attendee will leave with a finished fuse bead picture frame. Please note the frame does not have a backing. We just tape the photos to the back, easy peasy!
