Description: Welcome the holiday season by making your own felt ornaments. A perfect gift or keepsake, we’ll make 2-4 tree and star ornaments. You’ll cut and decorate your ornaments as you wish (we will have templates for cutting), and then we will sew and stuff them. We will have beads and buttons available for decorating, as well as a wide assortment of felt colors and fabrics. Finally, pick from some of our favorite vintage ribbons for hanging.
This event is BYOB. Feel free to bring your favorite beverage. We will have sparkling water and snacks available.
When: Friday, 12/4 6-9pm
Skills needed: None! All you need is the desire to create in community and have some fun
Skills taught: Skills taught include hand-sewing, material reuse, and decorative embellishment.
Supplies used: We’ll have a variety of materials to use, including fabric scraps, felt, trim, holiday ribbon, velvet ribbon, and various embellishments.
What you’ll leave with: Every student will leave with at least two finished ornaments!
